Canopy Consulting provided arboricultural assessment and tree protection planning for Mirvac SEED Stage 2, supporting development-stage decision-making on a major private-sector project.

Large development sites require clear, defensible tree information. Existing trees need to be assessed in relation to proposed works, design intent, construction requirements, and approval pathways.

Canopy assessed the existing tree population and prepared advice to support the project team through planning and approval. The work considered how proposed development could affect trees on and around the site, and what measures would be required to manage impacts.

The project required a balance between development objectives and tree protection requirements. Canopy’s role was to provide clear information that could be understood by planners, consultants, approval authorities, and construction teams.
